            Burasa is one of a traditional food from Bugis and the other district in south sulawesi, this kind of food always exist when idul fitri or idul adha come, even in wedding or another event that indonesia held. To make this food its not that hard, you just have to stay calm when you make it, why? Because it take a long time its about 2- 3 hours its depend on how many burasa you make and how you cook it, if you cook this burasa in traditional way it will take a long time. But now with all of the technology we have, we don't need to take that long time cook it, now you even can make it by on your own in your house,  so let me tell you how to make this burasa. The first ingredients that we need is a liter fresh rice, or how much do you want to make, banana leaf  for wrapping it, (don't forget to make it clean before you  use it), 2-3 sheets bay leaf (wash it) , salt, 3/4 L coconut milk, and the last one is strings to tie the burasa. 

            After we complete the ingredients, then lets make it. The first step is wash the rice until it completely clean. Then steam the well washed rice until its half cooked, take it and put in the basin. After that put the coconut milk, pour salt and put the bay leaf in. Stir until evenly with rice that is half cooked until coconut milk absorbed. Then steam back rice that has been stirred with coconut milk before until cooked and tender for about 15-20 and then take it away. After that take rice that already steam afterwards pack with banana leaf and tie it with 3-4 rope ( do this process until it done). Then steam again burasa that already wrapped for about 40 minutes, lift and the burasa ready to serve. 

            Oke that's the ingredients and the step-step that we need to do, to make burasa. I think the process its so easy, so you can practice in your house. for your information this burasa will taste more delicious if you eat it with satay, meatball and coto. 
                   
               
                                            How to make soto ayam
                                                   (chicken soup)


                                            
          Soto ayam is a food that always exist in every district in indonesia. This food is one food that familiar people in indonesia, because in the generally indonesian love to eat chicken. Maybe the taste in every district are different but in generally the ingredients to make this food is same. If you want know how to make chicken soup, let me try to explain it for you.

            The ingredients that we need to make this chicken soup is of course a chicken, 200 grams of bean sprouts, 200 grams a cabbage, 50 grams of soun noodles, 2 tomatoes, 4 pieces of potato, 2 liters of water, 3 boiled eggs, and fried unions to taste. After this now ingredients ready, now we move to the seasoning such as, 2 bay leaves, 2 stalks of lemongrass, 1 spring  union, 25 gram of galangal and 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. 

            Before we mixture all the ingredients, there is another ingredients that still we need its a 5 grams of turmeric, 15 gram of ginger, 3 shallots onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 4 pecans, 2 tablespoons of salt,  teaspoon of pepper. After all the ingredients are prepared, then we move to the process of making chicken soup. First of all friend the spices that already mashed till out the fragrant aroma. Then boiled chicken in a pen with spices with already fried before, add ginger, bay leaves, orange leaves, and lemongrass in the stew chicken, and don't forget to add salt and pepper, after that cook it for about 30 minutes until the chicken become tender. After we checked the chicken meat is tender, separated the meat from the bone, and return  it in a sauce in the pan. And then add the slice of onion and wait it till the boiling sauce, while we waiting for the boiling sauce, prepare the cabbage, soun noodles, sprout, slice of potato, slice of eggs, tomato and chicken meat that has been suwir-suwir into the serving bowl. After that flush the ingredients in the bowl with the soto sauce already in the cook. To make this chicken soup look tasty, we can sow a friend onion and slice of orange on it.
            Finally that is the recipe that i can tell you, i hope you enjoy it, and you can practice to make it in your house.


  How To Make Barongko Cake



 
            In south sulawesi there is a lot off cakes that taste good, for example barongko. This kind of cake its one of traditional cakes that always exist in almost every event that held in south sulawesi, you know why? Because this barongko its really good for dessert. Barongko have a sweet flavor and its not hard to make this cake. So i will try to tell you how to make this barongko cake. 

            The ingredients we need to make this barongko cake is about 2-3 banana that already mashed, 500 gram sugar, 200 coconut oil, 50 gram sugar, ¼ can of sweet milk, and salt, after we collect this ingredients we also need the banana leaves for wrap it .after we have all the ingredients lets move to how to make it this barongko cake, the first step is peel the banana that you have prepared before and remove the black part of it. Then prepare a blender, put the banana you have peeled with coconut oil, blend this two ingredients until smooth. If the banana already smooth enough you can immediately turn off the blender and put it in the basin. After that add eggs and stir until evenly distributed until the egg mixture mixed with banana dough. And don't forget to add the sugar, salt and the milk while you mix it.

            After all it done, lets move to how we wrap it, first take the banana leaves you have prepared before (don't forget make it clean). Then cut into medium size. Then put a few spoon of dough in top banana leaf, after that wrap the dough with the banana leaf. To paste it you can use a stepler or toothpicks so its will not be released. Them steam all the wrapped dough, steam it for about 25 minutes or until fully cooked. Finally after  it ripe you can immediately lift it, let it for a few moments and then serve it.

            You can enjoy this barongko when it still warm. But, if you want to feel a more extraordinary sensation, then there is no harm if you save it first in the refrigerator. And when its cold enough then just eat it, i bet you the taste of this barongko more than delicious.
