Today, I want to share about the recipe of food. As we
know, today is the 14th fasting
and Ied Mubarak will come in soon. Have you made a plan to cook a special food?
Today’s post, I am going to share typical recipes of
food on the day of Ied, those are Burasa and Soto Ayam. Wooww … those are an
appealing menu, aren’t it? May be those are can be your reference for Ied
Mubarak later.
Ok just read the way to make it directly,,,
BURASA,
THE TYPICAL FOOD OF SOUTH SULAWESI
Burasa is a typical food from South Sulawesi
which has a savory taste and it is quite unique because the buraas is rice
wrapped with banana leaves. Making the buras is simple and easy enough, and
also the materials are easy to get. The ingredients that used to make the burasa
is 1 liter of rice (or depending on the desire), then ¾ liters of coconut milk
(or adjusted to rice), salt at sufficiently, then the next
ingredient is banana leaf to wrap the burasa, and the last is rope which will
be used to tie the burasa.
Those are the ingredients for making burasa, then the
steps to make the burasa is, first we wash the rice with water until clean,
then drain. After that, steam the rice that has been washed until half cooked,
then lift and put into the basin and pour coconut milk and add salt at sufficiently,
stirring until be spread evenly with rice until coconut milk absorbed. After
the coconut milk is evenly distributed, steam back the stirred rice with
coconut milk until cooked for about 15-20 minutes, then remove. Take the
steamed rice that has been steamed, then wrap it with banana leaves and 2 packs
of burasa is stacked and then tied with rope for about 3-4 ties (do this process until finished).
After that, steam again the burasa that have been wrapped and tied for
approximately 40 minutes, then lift it and burasa is ready to serve. (by Nurpatima)

THE
TASTY SOTO AYAM
Soto ayam is a food that almost exists in every region in
Indonesia. But the taste and also the appearance of soto ayam in each region is
very different. But basically, the material and also the way to make soto ayam
is almost the same. In general, the ingredients that used to make soto ayam
are 1 chicken (as desired), 200 grams of bean sprouts, 50 grams of soun (soaked
in hot water), 4 pieces of potato (can be boiled / fried), 3 boiled eggs, 2
liters of water, fried onion at sufficiently. The ingredients that used to
make the seasoning are, 2 lemongrass (crushed), 1 scallion (25 thinly sliced),
galangal (2 pieces), 2 tablespoons cooking oil. In addition, there are some
more ingredients that used to make seasoning soto ayam, but must be smoothed
first, those are 5 grams of turmeric, 15 grams of ginger, 3 cloves of onion, 2
cloves of garlic, 4 pieces of pecan, 2 tablespoons salt, and ½ teaspoon pepper.
Next, the steps taken to make soto ayam is first, saute the
seasoning that has been smoothed. Then, boil the chicken in the pan together
with the spice that has been stirred, and add galangal, orange leaves and
lemongrass leaves into the chicken stew and cook for about 30 minutes until the
chicken becomes soft. And add salt and pepper to taste in chicken stew. After
chicken meat is quite soft, separate the chicken meat from the bone (small
shreds), then return the bone into the sauce in the pan. Then add the scallion
pieces and wait until the sauce boils. While waiting for the boiling sauce,
prepare cabbage, soun, bean sprouts, sliced potatoes, egg slices and chicken
meat in small shreds into the serving bowl. Then after that flush the
ingredients in a bowl with soup cooked soto. Lastly, to decorate the soto ayam to look beautiful, can be sprinkled with
fried onions and lime slices on it according to taste. And soto ayam is ready

BROWN
SUGAR ONDE-ONDE
Onde-onde is one of the popular market snack cake in
Indonesia. Onde-onde cake consists of several types, one of them is brown sugar
onde-onde which is one type of traditional cake from Sulawesi. The way to make
the brown sugar onde-onde is easy
enough, we will not be confusion or hassles when making it. Then, the main
ingredient that we must prepare to make onde-onde is 150 grams of sticky rice flour
(for a portion of 44 people), 1/4 teaspoon salt for coconut, 125 ml of water,
then 1/4 teaspoon salt for glutinous flour dough, we may add a food colour to
make the Onde-onde more interesting (the color is depend on desire) 150 grams
of coconut, and also 100 grams of brown sugar.
After prepare the ingredients, then the steps to make
the brown sugar onde-onde is, First of
all, mix the grated coconut with salt. And stir until well, then steam until
cooked. After that, Blend the brown
sugar that have prepared and make it into small round shape. The next step is,
Put the sticky rice flour that have prepared into the basin. Then add salt, water,
and food colour. Stir until it becomes a dough that can be formed. Then, Take a
little dough, then flatten it, and give a small dash of brown sugar in the
middle of a flatten dough. Then wrap
brown sugar with a sticky rice dough. Then make a round shape. Do the same steps until the other dough runs
out.
After that, Prepare a medium sized pot. Then put
enough water into the pan and boil the water. If the water has boiled, put the
dough that has been formed earlier, and Boil until the dough floats in the
water. And If the dough floats so lift it and drain. Then the last is put it
into the cold water. Then lift and roll into the grated coconut. The brown
sugar onde-onde is ready to serve. (by Nurpatima)
